Default Why is HTML disabled?

We would have a lot more cool awesome signatures if we had it on.

Many members here don't want the flashy graphics associated with signatures.

Who knows, but I'm definitely not going to ask what is going on in it.

As for the sigs, simple is better. Otherwise you'll have people going way overboard and things will be flashing all over the website.

Yea i could imagine people not wanting to join because they don't like all the flashy things on a website. That and they might get seizures.

HTML is off because it can auto redirect a page, so you could click the thread and then be at a rick roll, or worse, a phishing site.

Virtually NO forums allow HTML. Most allow BB code, though - But i'm not saying that it's a good thing.

And you would also have spammy javascript that will redirect you to a spam page if HTML was allowed
