Actually in the event of nuclear war, bury it 50 feet down and hook it up to a well and sanitation systems and you got yourself a liveable bomb shelter.

where would you store the food? those things arent that big man.

You would probably be able to fit aleast a few weeks of food but usually nuclear fallout lasts longer then that
