Where to sell a technology?

I am in the process of making a new technology(software). After it is all done, where would I make the most profit by selling it? I was thinking Microsoft, but idk. Where?

Well, I wouldn't even worry about. You are going to need to patent it first. (or is it copyright with software?; shows how much I learned in my business law class just a few months ago )

If its a new type of technology, you'd have to patent it, I'm guessing, and that'd cost you a fair share, before you even think of selling it

yea, you need to make a "business" plan of sorts, present it to investors, patent it and go from there..

Depends on what type of software it is really
