Default Where to get codec

Hi

I tried playing an avi file in Windows Media Player but I get an error messgae and so I ran Mplayer32.exe (or something like that) to find what codec i needed and it said I needed vidsX50 decompressor...do you know where I can get it? and also do i just need to install it and then i'll be able to play the avi file in Windows Media Player?

Thats what I have, never ever had a problem with a codec after installing that.
