Empire Earth was AMAZING.
Empire Earth 2 was a decent successor. Worth getting, lots of fun.
Empire Earth 3 sucks ASS.
Another good game is Medieval: Total War. Same concept as Empire Earth, except there is no character limit, and plus you play on a MUCH bigger scale.
