Default What specialist magazine??

Hi guys, just thought i'd ask what computing magazines you read and how you'd rate them, the last coupl of years i've been reading PC PRO, preceeded by PC Gamer, which i didnt really like very much. How about you guys, what do u read? Thing is im wondering if there something better than PC PRO out there, although i like it alot, i was just wondering.

What i read: PC PRO
Why i like it: A good variety of software and hardware coverage. News. The A list. business coverage, and informal feel.

Now do yours.

Well, i've been subscribed to ComputerActive for about 3 years now - but it's far too simple. I'm about to move on to the DVD Edition of PC Pro - it's really good

I normally read Computer Shopper and Maximum PC. I actually think I'm going to subscribe to Maximum PC. I just like the way everything is laid out and the reviews are actually reviews not just them feeding you a line to sell stuff.

I use to get PC Magazine, but esepecially recently I feel like the reading is below me.

I feel like PC Magazine use to cater to a more select number of people. Writing articles that were geared towards true techies, geeks, and nerds. Stuff we actually cared about. But now i feel as if they're not writing for the geeks and nerds anymore, but instead for everyone. And as a result the articles have fallen below what I consider constitutes a true geeks magazine.

There are only 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who can read binary, and those who can't.
