I built one of those once! It's pretty nice its still in my backyard I used a cedar colored stain and pine, it looks like this only the back rest is cut slightly different at the top...

and you can build footrests that connect and stuff. but anyone who has ever sat in one will agree that they are the most comfortable chairs ever.

I'm going for thse chairs as soon as I find teh right plans that use 2x4s. One plan used a lot of 2x6s instead.

yo can run some 2x4's the the jointer, and glue them up for 2x6's

yeah, but that would take a while, I havent looked very hard, so I can find some plans around. Or look through my dads book. I dont even know if we have enough good 2x4s. We picked them up at my dads construction site and some are in really bad condition. Lots have nails. Might have to buy some new ones. But its cheaper than buying good wood, lol. I also wanna get some rough Oak stock, and joint that and make some other furniture over the summer.
