Default What happened to Crysis 2??

Looking forward to seeing the graphics in this game, what ever happened to it? Thought it was supposed to come out in 09...

I'm glad it isn't going to be significantly more graphically demanding on a computer since I really want to play it when it comes out but do not want to have to do a major upgrade or replacement of my current rig to run one game which is exactly what many people did when crysis came out.

They're doing what they've always done. They wait until ATi gets out their biggest baddest card for the semester/year and then they try to ice the cake. It's a nice tactic but it keeps everyone waiting. I know they have the technology for DX11 and we already know they have a contract with /someone/ for GDDR5 chips. And I'm pretty sure the "Fermi" core has had ample time to be developed and tested.

Any word on what that thing would cost though?
Nvidia typically overprices their stuff at release.
