Thanks for all the support,you must remember that old fogies like me get a little grumpy at times.So please start with your Windows version and if it's brand new,take the darn thing back.
One more tip,
If you buy a new device,quickly start to test all it's functions.Most local stores give you at least a week or 2.sorry if you have no choice but Internet buying.
p.s.Don't use WD40.

Did you know, you can use White Spirit to clean off the crappy sticky pads and excess AS5 from heatsinks/processor.
