Yeah flash player will run it. You may need to drag and drop it into your browser because it is a plugin of the browser itself, I think you have to have the actual flash editor to have the stand alone player but I could be wrong.

What browser do you use?

You need Flash Player for that browser; Internet Explorer version or Firefox/Opera version... and then just double-click the SWF on your computer; and it should open in your default browser then.
