What do you think i should do?

$1800 is just overkill to turn it on(just basics), after i still need to buy a graphic card and montior, ect... After it's all bought it will be $3947

I'm going to go with choice 2. because of what david said, i get to play newer games sooner.

Get cracking on the new computer. Its nicer when you recive it all and have to put it together.

Plus, it gives you a chance to test all the hardware to see if it works. RMA it if it doesn't. I would say, build your own. I'm not familiar with Canadian to US conversions, but you should have adequate funding to build a decent computer. Best of all, it will be yours and you can be sure to get all the latest and greatest stuff.
