What american accent do you have?

Where we were staying one time here in England, there were an American who lived in New Hampshire, he was from there, & had virtually no accent, she was from Boston originally, & had the very pronounced "twang", he was telling me about his ranch it was so large that he had to drive to inspect his 150 conifers!, but he didn't buy an American vehicle, oh no, he imported a British top of the range Rangerover, he said they were the best.

Yeah, I think I may have a Texan accent but it's hard to tell because it's the way people around here talk all the time. Really nothing to compare it to.

"North Central" is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent. If you saw "Fargo" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot.
