Let's put it this way: Last year, our school district faced a crisis in which if the community didn't start giving 75 dollars to our district from every family every year, we would have to drop libraries, counslors, and the school nurse.
While 4 years back, our school district was proudly buying brand new books for several subjects, installing a brand new computer lab, and hiring new teachers. This was all on their yearly fund.
Now you're going to tell me that the schools are getting well paid?
Admission to UC Berkeley rose another 8 percent two months ago. Same with a lot of other UC colleges. Our teachers age getting EXTREMELY underpaid, with even NFL stars being paid more in a WEEK then they get paid in a year. No, that is NOT right. What they do is a hard job, and they don't even get a friggin good pay. I'm not saying that Arnold is to blame for this, but we seriously need to put education as our top priority, or China and India will very quickly overtake us in technology graduates (they pretty much already are). Outsourcing will become extremely common if this trend continues.
As for Iraq, I'm not telling you lies. You and I both know that bombers kill people nearly every day, and you know that during elections, this will be much more common. And please read my damn post right: I never said that the elections would get canceled because of terrorists. I'm saying that bombers will have an impact on the results, because i assure you that there are some people scared as hell right now to go to any public places in Iraq.
I never once mentioned anything about afganistan, nor their election. The situation there was not as messed up as Iraq is now. I never said nor supported the idea that elections couldn't be held there. They were, and I'm happy for that.
