Maybe he doesnt like him because hes not into trance? Armin van Buuren is catching up he might take his #1 title although he is #1 in the DJMag rank. I mean thats his music, maybe he is into Electro/House...

I do like Trance haha

I'm not saying their's anything wrong with Tiesto, except his tracks are not all that. A large quantity of them are fairly boring, with only a few ones. He just doesn't deserve the #1 spot.

Btw for people who are curious, I am into Trance (Mainly epic / uplifting and progressive) and house (progressive & some electro)

Also annoying is Tiesto's over inflated ego and his personal belief that he is jesus (see pic)

EDIT: The fanboys are also extremely annoying, and if I hear Adiago for strings once more, I swear I'll shoot someone lol.

Yay for same taste in music man! Im way into progressive trance that why I like ASOT and ISOS series I like House/Electro cause one of my friends DJ and he is into that shit, I know u liked electronica but was not sure what type. Whats your favorite DJ then?

I am not a fan boy, but he is one of my favorites. And I read he is kinda cocky in person, Armin on the other side he is very charismatic.

Here, DJ-Chris, this is for you:

I am also into the progressive trance movement. The pushy bass and the electronic sounds that go along with it just appeal to me. Especially since now I have some good speakers that it actually sounds great on.

I am into mostly progressive and anthem trance.

Anyone interested in this style of music should go and check out Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music. It basically details a lot of genres that fall under "electronic." http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide

So far, my fav of Tiesto's work is Trance Sensation.

Tiesto is great, and Armin van Buuren is also another "God of Trance"

I haven't found too much of van Burren on YouTube, but I think I'm not looking good enough. I found Sail, which is pretty good.

Nice link, and Adagio for strings is one of my favorites cant beat the mix of classical music with electronic. Have u also heard "Athena - Tiesto"? That one blends classical music perfectly too.
