I will never understand the gamer mentality...

what "gamer" mentality...? if you think this is how most gamers are you're way off, dude was just mental, period, he was carrying a knife around, if he had been shooting hoops or doing anything else competitive he would've done the same thing, a certain percentage of any population is crazy/deranged, I don't see how being a gamer has any relevance here...
