very wierd comp. behavior

this is strange,

ive been playin around wth the crytek sandbox 2 thing that came with the crysis demo, but since my lappy isent good, i cant run it to its fullest ( low and sketch settings, cat render some stuff)

but latley, everytime i open it up, it crashes, no big deal, was planing on deleting it soon ne way

but then i noticed something, it never crashes when i have Steam open

i dont know if this is pure coincidence, or something else..

The uhh... Valve engine is in no way connected to the crytek engine. I can't see why that would have anything to do with the sandbox.
