Just like Mr.Brookfield I was also wondering abotu usergroups, but i was way to lazy to start a thread asking

I only found out a few weeks ago about usergroups. Over at CT, I set specific members to have mod powers in each section, and it took agers. So I found about these, added the mods in, I hid the group, and wollah, it worked! Such an ace feature.
