Default USDA proposal may lead to further salmonella outbreaks

The USDA proposes to lower safety standards on chicken inspections. Here's a link to an article with more details: Don't let USDA privatize chicken inspection!

And you plan to stop this how? Corporations have checks. Those checks have names and many numbers on them. Those names control the votes. So what makes you think that a news article/tv broadcast/forum post is going to change a thing?

Do me a favor. Walk down a random aisle in Walmart. Select three random items. Google each ingredient in those items. Tell me how many you found that didn't contain a chemical that is poisonous.

The USDA could really care less who inspects the processed chemicals that go into your mouth. They know it's poisonous. For them it's a financial gain as they can fire employees who would normally do this work, reduce their allotted budget for that overhead by 50% and then pocket the other 50%. They don't care.
