As for plugging in the camera, I doubt if you just plugged it in, "everythign fell apart:

And don't eat or drink around your PC

If you can't treat your equipment with a bit of respect, then in all honesty you deserve it to break.

Computers are delicate machines, and yanking things out of the ports is going to cause damage, ummm and yeah spilling water, around electrical components never really good idea.
