Well, I need help fast!

My dad is trying to fix up his resume but something's wrong...

Alrite, so he had a 2 page resume and i put it on a disk. Now when i open it, i have 3 files. PG.1 word document, and Pg1. WPS and Pg2. WPS.

I dont know what these WPS files are. They won't open wit word or anything.
I don't remember if the cd had everything before, I dont rememeber if i ever used it before, butt this is all i have to work with...

Anyone can help?? please, it would save my dad a lot of time.

The file extension WPS = Microsoft Works document, so open it with that.

alrite i got it working.
I tried opening it with microsoft works but i dunno, it was all messed up. The encoding was different. But then i remembered i used to have Microsoft Works 2002 and now i have Office XP Pro, so i installed Works, still no luck. Then when i opened the document, it installed a converter and still no luck...

5 mins later, i return to the computer, ready to start fixing up the first page when something tellls me to try to open the 2nd page again, so i did. and VIOLA! It worked Phew, i dont know if i saved time or lost more just getting it to open. lol
