How many channels is your amp? Mines a dual and I just tag-team wired the Aiwa's and Technics. You could put the right channel on right channel positive and the left channel on left channel negative. Should create the effect that you want with your sub.

Fixed. TRS means tip-ring-sleeve as in there are 3 wires in there. This is a stereo cable- left, right and ground. TS is Tip-sleeve as in there are 2 wires in there. This works as a mono cable because you get audio and ground.

Here's a good description of the subwoofer I'm using.

http://www.guitarcenter.com/JBL-Cont...93-i1322013.gc

It has two inputs on the back for the left and right driver, so imagine the amplifier being directly fed into the subwoofer in stereo. This specific amplifier has a built in crossover which would limit any unusable frequencies that this speaker can't produce. I plan on using it, which makes this unsuitable for any other full range speakers.

There's also the Harman/Kardon stereo receiver, but I don't trust that thing handling more than two speakers at a time.

Here's what everything currently looks like. Audiophiles roaming this forum are probably screaming their heads off at how my speakers are arranged.

I still need to find a use for that center speaker. I originally traded it off to a good friend to purchase the subwoofer, but he ended up returning it back. Don't feel like purchasing another amplifier just to power that thing.
I'm sure that Vaio-FX is positvley shaking with anger!

Not really sure to be honest. I don't have a SPL meter.

I'll be honest when I say there are probably better speakers out there for the price I paid. I never bought these intending to create a sound system. I just saw one at a theme park and wondered how they would sound in a home environment.

Let me elaborate on this quote. You're supposed to create a soundstage by spacing the speakers apart equidistant from your listening position. Positioning them together like that destroys stereo imaging. You're also not supposed to place them that high, but at ear level.

If anyone is interested in what I used, here are a few links.

JBL Control 28
http://www.avgiant.com/JBL-Control-2...-Vented-System

JBL Control 29
http://www.avgiant.com/JBL-Control-C...onitor-Speaker

JBL Control SB210
http://www.avgiant.com/JBL-Control-S...ower-Subwoofer

If you know anything about speakers, you'll notice how these are limited in terms of frequency bandwidth. That's all sacrificed for durability. So if you're ever looking for some nice outdoor speakers, take a look at these. It just so happens I use these at home.

Here are the amplifiers.
