Default The ultimate FPS War sim *Better have a good computer*

Remember a few years back when Crysis was launched?

Well it appears that ArmA 2 is this gens Crysis. People are running i7 builds highly overclocked with SLI cards just getting it to run on max at decent frame rates. If there is a game that can get me back into PC gaming this is it. I love how you have to lead your targets when shooting as well as the depth of the battlefield.

If it wasn't on your radar check out these videos. This game is going to be bad ass.

Sniping video

Game play with a i7 920 @ 3.8Ghz with GTX 260's in SLI

Funny AI bug (This is pretty funny)

Demo is found here.

NICE

What's it gonna cost?

I don't like to spend much on my games.

If you read "more info" he notes that he wasn't utilizing SLI. 42FPS average is great for one GTX 260.

I am a bit skeptical already. I know it's a demo but I am not seeing how it takes a core i7, a GTX 260 and 6GB of RAM and still hit framerates as low as 16. Is the environment totally destructable? I see it's really big but still there isn't much in the way of terrain. It's mostly empty. I saw a few trees get knocked over and the ground upturned but that's all.
