Trying to redirect

I have a software package by santronics called winserver. It offers smtp/pop3 email and everything you'd expect from the internet

my problem, I have an internet service based on dynamic ip. So I know it changes often. So I registered through no-ip.com to try a redirect to my pc to host this system. anyhow, will my DSL router since my ip is the normal 192.168.?.? affect this redirect? if so how can I do a work around?

This system would allow me to do changes and add webpages directly to my pc rather than do a ftp transfer to a host

any help?

thanks

192.168.x.x is your internal network address assigned by the routers DHCP.. This will not affect your external IP address which is where the redirect will be happening.. What you might want to do is Map the port for POP (110) and SMTP (25)..

There isn't really a work around since your router will have your external IP and your computers will have an internal (not reachable from the outside) IP address.
