im gonna call them tomorrow and see if my warranty is up. i asked before and they said it was, but that was before they extended it.

nooono. stand it up vertically and knock it over. repeat if necessary. thats how mine got the red ring of death.

Thats basically all you have to do, and you can be assured it'll go eventually.

I love my Xbox 360 though. No denying that. I just want it back...

lol.. all you have to do to stop the 360 from dying it to open it up and put on a heatsink which is worthwhile having, not difficult to do.. as long as you have some heatsink compound
