I found this excellent 3D demo someones made using code for one of those demo conventions people have sometimes.
Rather like what they used to have where they had to code something magnificent using the least amount of data as possible. This one, for a group called the Gathering. I don't know wheather you'd have heard about it to be honest, but its very interesting stuff, and the people that are involved are so talented.
Now, I love tracking for example since its decoded live as its playing, just like how I love old computer game system music for the same reason. The music isn't like an MP3. Its read as its played, with samples etc being reproduced in real time.
I also prefer real 3D videos running, rather than a pre-rendered video for instance in games, which is why I love this track, and the video thats rendering in real time so much.
I love anything like that to tell the truth. Anything pure. I don't know why either.
There are many more:
Its a tracker based song (like what you can create in trackers like Renoise, and older ones like Fast Tracker, etc), with a real time 3D scene playing to the music that they've coded.
This is what it is, in Youtube. But the download is worth it:
Other songs made using Renoise you may be interested in hearing:
These are other videos made in the software (its free too)
I love the randomness of this track.
