Some of these guys do this for a living. Companies like game developers or hardware manufacturers contact them asking them to create a case based on a certain theme for a certain LAN party or gaming event and they get paid for it.

That looks hell nice. Wish I could do stuff like that.

I saw something similar but it was a Resident Evil case. Pity I can't find it anywhere though.

Yup. If you do really nice case mods and you're well known, you can get paid a lot for your services.
