Well then,Wouldnt a Dual core 5Ghz CPU Be the Equiv to a 3-4Ghz Quad core CPU under some situations?

Not sure about that. But in a situation where the program has two threads you won't benefit from the quad.

not sure i want to know, i cant stand WoW. however i must ask...

I'm not sure if there is a record for WOW, but if there was I know it'd be a lot more geeky.

but currently this in the geekiest that we know of.

Hmm. A cool record but they could have done more of an article. I remember seeing an article a few years back of a P4 @ 5GHz which was great reading because they had a liquid nitrogen cooling system etc
