Wow if you read the article it says they have 2 of the cores disabled effectively making me less impressed.

Well then,Wouldnt a Dual core 5Ghz CPU Be the Equiv to a 3-4Ghz Quad core CPU under some situations?

Not sure about that. But in a situation where the program has two threads you won't benefit from the quad.

Hmm. A cool record but they could have done more of an article. I remember seeing an article a few years back of a P4 @ 5GHz which was great reading because they had a liquid nitrogen cooling system etc
