Default For those waiting for X2800XTX

You should have not waited
http://www.dailytech.com/ATI+Radeon+...rticle7052.htm

I guess because ATI made us wait so long for the X2800XTX everyone had high expectations.

Good, I like nVidia so much better anyway.

I think I'm gonna get a nice 8800GTX for my new build, get some water cooling going, and OC the hell out of it.

Their 2900XT is a little better than the 8800GTS though so if you want to go that route....

I've always like nVidia a lot more than ATI. Their drivers are more stable IMO.

Does anyone know how they will be priced? AMD has already took a massive hit this year, and it will be a shame if they take one in the GPU department as well.

So how do they compare is price? If the 2900Xt is somewhere near the GTS then it could still be competative in that respect

Get an XBOX. Keep away from the expensive GPU wars.

Dailytech ran some benchmarks a few days ago when they received a 2900XT 512MB and compared the results to an 8800GTS 640MB.
