There are strikes in the energy industry all over the UK atm based on a recent uprising in foreign labour. A UK based company has flown in 400 italian workers to do a job at the same price as British labourers. They've even brought in a floating hotel off the shore of Grimsby to house the workers. They've completely undercut the UK work force. In the midst of a recession and just weeks after Gordon Brown promised "British Jobs For British Workers", this happened. He's really pushing it.

I don't know whether I agree with what's being said above.

remember that he's just choosing a course now, that means it's be three maybe four years till he graduates, and the economy and industry may have taken an upturn in that time.
