Question Is there a program that...

runs on my browser or on the PC that checks to make sure i am logging into secure sites, for example PayPal. Like is there a way to stealth my log in and all that. Basically i am wondering if there is a security utility to protect my log in info around the web.

Is there??

The ebay toolbar can do that, and firefox tells you if you are on a known Phishing site, and it also tells you if you are on a verified secure site. The address bar becomes yellow, and it says secure.

You should be checking that when you are entering details and you think you are on a secure site that there is a picture of a lock in your status bar and also a secure site should have the address starting with https: rather than http:

CF doesn't use SSL, that's why. Only certain sites with an SSL certificate will show up as secure.
