Default Temperature Survey

My pc has some high temps no clue why so im wondering why are mine so high and people on here have low temps. Please if you can post your CPU temperature, type of cooling you have part if availbe, your room temperature, and what are the speeds of your processor and the fans. Thanks

AMD Athlon 64 3400+
Temp at idle=40C
Temp at load=57C-70C
Cooling= Zalman 92mm Half Copper Half Aluminum
RPM=1500-2000
Room Temp=70F or 30C around there
Speed Of Processor=2.4Ghz

room temp = 30C!?

Sorry can't really help with the survey since I don't have a temp sensor for the cpu.

edit: ur maths ain't that good 70F is about 21C

CPU is 35 Celcius at load (CPU is an AMD 3400+ Socket 939, 130nm clahammer)
eVGA 6800GS is always under 43 at load
Hard drives under 25 celcious
Everything else (mobo and stuff) is under 35

This morning - Ambient air temp: 22C
Idle Temps


Load Temps - rthdribl (10 minutes)


Load Temps - Super PI 1M


EDIT: Case fans:
Front - 3x 80mm intake
Side - 1x 80mm intake
Rear - 2x 80mm exhaust, 1x 120mm exhaust (Psu)
Cpu and gpu both with Zalmans (see below)

CPU: 35C idle, 50C load.

Motherboard: 25C

GPU: 51C

Hard drives(s): all at 25-30C

All on air cooling, what kinda cooling you on, and what kind of airflow do you have in your case?

i have two fans and a zalman heatsink. i have the fron blowin into the case and the back one blowing out. and im not a temp guy hehee. but as of right now my temps are 49 celcius with nothin running. which is really weard.

I would spring clean inside the case to remove dust bunnies and add a couple of fans (one in, one out) if I was you

Chassis: 1118 RPM Antec 120mm

Ambient temp 24° celcius
