The dumbest I have ever done is I spent about 2 mins. or so trying to wake a computer up out of sleep mode. Need less to say, the computer was off......

Probably my worst time was when i was using old IDE cords (no pin blocks) and I put 3 out of the four of them in upside-down, and it took me a few hours of painful searching and pondering, when i finally gave up and started taking out the mobo, but I left to go get Lunch after I took a few screws out. I come back, and my counterpart was loading win xp onto the HD, and I said WTF, how come it works for you. He said "your IDE cables were on backwards". I just kind of slinked away with my sub (mmmm...Quiznos) for a few moments after that mistake
