Star trail photos

Well cloud gazing is kinda neat also. When I got my very first digital camera I was working as a clerk at another hotel. At that time the weather was being turbulent and very unpredictable. Anvil cloud formations popped up in the late afternoon, early evening hours. The setting sun lit them up and I got some beautiful shots. Close ups looked like you were flying through the clouds.
So having clouds can be an alternative to stars.

No doubt they can often be cool - but stars to me will always be the more epic alternative :)

Wait....did you just say "epic"

Working in a school system like a do and having an office at the High School, I can say that 'epic' is by far one of the most over-used but totally "in" thing to say. I never expected it to pop up on this forum

(No offense by the way, it was just funny, probably only to me)

Wow - I'm (completely accidentally) down with the kids it seems! ;)

:offtopic:
I'll say stuff at home and my wife will be like "What..?" and I'll be like, "I don't know it's what all the kids say now a days"...LOL
