im also on 9mg and i think my speedtest is pretty low. Maybe its just UK.

Anyone who thinks their speeds should be considerably higher should check out TCP Optimizer:

It greatly, greatly enhanced my speeds. All you do is choose your maximum download bandwidth from the slider bar (you can use the number right from your speedtest.net results or your advertised bandwidth), choose your network adapter from the drop down menu, click the Optimal Settings radio button, and hit apply. Reboot your PC, and you should see a significant speed improvement.
