Default Specs on your FIRST systembuild

Hey i thought it would be interesting to hear the specs people used when they built their first system for themselves.

Also the Date they built it, and how much it cost.
my first systems specs were.

Generic Beige Case
Generic 300 Watt PSU
AMD XP 1400+
512MB DDR 266 (pc2100)
GeForce MX400
Soltek Motherboard (socket A)
8X CD-RW
20 Gig WD harddrive.
Windows 98 SE

I built mine somewhere in the year 2000
it was a $500 tower.

Those were good times, Played Diablo II, Unreal Tourny, red alert 2.

haha
