I do care and do not ignore such things if I hear about things like that.. but unfortunately we don't hear about such things too often because their not directly effecting us.. so you must look for these events.

I think the whole 9/11 only effects the world more becouse the media made it.. how many debates, shows, even movies have been produced from the twin towers? now how many have been from the deaths in africa?
