Napoleon was a brilliant commander, but yes, Russia was his fatal mistake. But battle of Borodino... one of the biggest battles in all history........

But you have to realize the Russian commanders were quite smart.. they managed to lure Napoleon into Moscow, and that's where he realized that he was trapped.

Not to be anual or anything but the battle of vicksburg,civil war, was the biggest and bloodies war there was.

I think that was in US History, but the Battle of Stalingrad during WW2 was the bloodiest battle ever...I think.
