Howdy.

I see a lot of people ranting and raving about computers and how awesome they are and what's good but just curious and wanted to gauge the community's response on this...

what are three things you don't like about computers?

1. They are expensive (good ones are, anyway).
2. They become obsolete far too quickly.
3. They can eat up a lot of your time if you let them.

it can be anything, for me:

changing of architecture (from cpu socket types to ram and whatnot)
support for some software when you're trying to do something very specific
configurations on complex things

i'll throw in a 4th for good measure

time consuming.

1. Its an addiction of mine now, and i dont like the idea of being utterly dependant on them. but i know if someone took my computers away id have nothing to do and no means by which to do anything really.

2. similar to cboucher's points, its becomes MORE expensive as the technology moves on which happens every month or two it seems now. A new standard is established far too quickly.

3. I spend more time working on my PCs than i do working on my actual work.

1. EXPENSIVE!
2. Some times they stuff up for no reason...
3. They are addicting.
