I aggree.. Look at how many times the flew.. And only busted 2 shuttles.... To me thats a pretty good track record... A commercial airline has a better chance of crashing than the shuttle...

There appears to be a hold on countdown and where is this launch going to take place? Can't find the location on their site.

Yes the countdown is on hold.. They have specific times they stop the countdown then start it up.

As for location. They are launching from:
Kennedy Space Center
Cape Canaveral Florida.

It will launch at:
3:51pm EST
2:51pm CST <-- my time

Shuttle launch had been canceled for today..
They found 2 faulty fuel sensors.

Perhaps tommorrow they will launch. Nasa is still undecided.

as much as I had anticipated the launch, it was also good that they didn't. Those fuel sensors may give cause to disaster. Another "accident" would probably cancel space esxploration completely.

They had some door/window covering that fell off and damaged some tiles on the tail section. from what I read in my morning paper.
