Selling my Raspberry Pi gaming console

Not really. Maybe you have them in a format unrecognizable by the computer, so you need to download them in a readable format to play them in another device. Makes sense.

Still, these are old games. Even if you wanted to buy them you would probably have the hardest time finding them.

Hmm... playing these old systems is something I'd have to figure out. All I wanted was the C64 games but I can't get the controller to work in it. I had the keyboard hooked up as well and nothing.

Figured out how to extract the roms out of the image file. I posted a query on Google and on reddit there was a lot of suggestions. Get this file and that file then do this then that etc etc.

One guy piped in, hey just use 7zip. You'll figure it out.

He's right and it was a lot easier. Thanks my man. :)

I got the C64 roms on my PC and all I need is an emulator for the PC. Then I can play it.

It's unbelievable how expensive that computer was.

According to Wikipedia it would be $1500 today ($500 in 1982). And today you can get a 64 bit processor with 8 CPUs and 16 threads for $250.

Even look at the prices of the IBM PCs and clones back in the 80s?

This is why we have C64s and Ataris. IBMs had monochrome and "4 color" monitors (CGA).

Thing is though they were strictly business machines.
