RSS/XML feed program

I am looking for a good free RSS/XML feed program. I tried a few out but they dont work to well. Is there one that stays on your desktop (that doesn't require a seperate window to be open)?

I don't know of any programs, but any Macs, and Windows Vista has RSS/XML feed reader built into them so yeah
Just wait a bit.
