Default Rip Music off a Music DVD

Hi!

I was wondering - i have some live performances of bands , and also just music dvds.

I want to rip the audio of the dvd, to listen to simply the audio as opposed to having to watch the whole dvd.

Can anybody suggest some software which would allow me to do this.

Also - i want to have my ipod connected to both my computers instead of my laptop only, but when i plug it into my desktop it complains that it isnt linked to this pc - is there any way to hoodwink the desktop itunes into just acting like the laptop?

Thanks for your help guys.
