I am fed up big time, just can not figure linux UBUNTU network settings out, tried for days and still cant get online or contact or ping my router I GIVE UP.

@blackjack, ive seen your numerous threads, and ive also tried ubuntu myself, it does get easier, but it does take time. as long as its running off the cd/another partition or w/e then just play with it when you have time
