Considering that the 5850 can oc to 1100+ MHz core without a vGPU mod, I think it still might beat a SP unlocked 470.

Btw, does your evga 470 have soft vcore control enabled? I know asus models do, but afaik you can only adjust it via asus's overclocking utility, whick is kinda wonky with other card manufacturers.
