Right click the exe and tick the "Run as Administrator"?
Not sure if it would actually work though.

And for Foothead, because he loves to talk about overclocking 5850s to 5870 speeds...

Toxic is no good. I hear it does not have voltage control enabled, so you will be highly restricted as far as overclocking. Get the reference and 1000MHz is easy with 5870 BIOS.

Also epically overpriced. Get the reference model or the PCS+.

It lets you get past afterburner's vcore and clock limits.

I think you can get about 900MHz on 5850 BIOS.

I was up til 4AM last night. I had been on 4 hours of sleep all day...which was like 20 hours. Gah. I got 2 days of homework done, at least. Less to do tonight after night class.

Meh, I can max console ports on my parents' 3GHz P4 HT Dell with a HD 4670.

I still cannot figure out why some of these games (Bioshock for example) get bad framerates on the more powerful consoles, but I get 40-50 fps on this pos dell with all settings at max.

True.

I hope it isn't like the Xbox though. My brother's Xbox gets unplayable framerates in some games. I thought consoles were not supposed to have issues like that. It was below 20 in Bioshock, under 15 at some points.
