The SMART test takes about 15 sec, The error scan takes under a minute in quick mode and up to a few hours in slow mode.

Judging by the symptoms you listed i my experience the drive is likely starting to fail. The disk boot failure messages get more and more frequent until the drive no longer works at all. I had it happen to an old 40gb drive I had

okay i got the program under the health tab it says everything is okay for both drives
under the scan for error tab for both drives says everything is green

I believe it's very possible. What cooler you running? Intel provided or after market?

Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme heatsink with a 120mm Sharkoon 2000RPM fan. I'm getting 42'C idle and 64'C while running LinX at stock speeds. I think the temps are too high so I'm going to remove the HSF, clean and re-apply the thermal compound, and see if I can get the stock temps lower.
