My parents doesnt have any money to buy anything expensive right now. They just bought an 2009 Hyundai Sonata because it was cheap. Maybe after 3 years when its paid off (around the time after paying off the house too), my dad will get his DSLR camera.

I am generally opposed to Kodak digital cameras, but they still look very nice.

I have THIS Kodak.

It's a great camera but i love the manual settings on it

That is one that is almost a full-on SLR.
It seems nice. I looked at those, but I decided to go true SLR with it.
I bet its pictures are good though.
