I was bored too, but then I started to read my Java book again. I am starting to get confused, the teachings in this book is kind of different compared to the book I used in class.

Any difference in durability? Like one USB flash can last longer than others, and wont get damaged as easily if something were to happen while transferring and etc.
Well, let me link to some good ones. I'd try to stay around 8GB-16GB to be cost effective.

Here's some 8GB ones:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220263 (I have this; don't care about speed, so I don't have info on that)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233037
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820134904 (have a 1GB data traveler and it's been trusty)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220226 (if you don't want a rebate hassle)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211358 (lifetime warranty; water-proof...maybe )
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220301 (if you need something small and don't want a rebate)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220252 (if you need something fast; this will own most other USB flash drives. Patriot is a great brand)

16GB:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233042 (good for the price and warranty; IDK about speed)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220253 (ideal 16GB; great speed; great warranty)

I was thinking of getting the Patriot Xporter XT Boost, but Newegg and the manufacturer site states that it goes up to 200x, but the reviews states it only goes up to 150x. Which one is true?

EDIT - Any site that compares the Xporter (at 200x) to other USB flash drives. I can only find the ones with 150x, which some said its the older version.

@ Teny - Check out OCZ's "Throttle" series flash drives. They carry a hefty price but some VERY useful features - eSATA. As well as USB 2.0 capability.

Well nothing is probably the true speed. The 120x drives probably are way below 100x ya know?

Yeah, except using the miniUSB on a machine with no eSATA would be a PITA.
