I can't imagine working for a company and not collecting my paycheck for 14 consecutive paydays, I would have told them to stuff it and found another employer after missing 1 or 2. In your case it looks like perseverance paid off.

It wasn't consecutive, it was in long intervals to up to 14 months in total. Last pay was like two salaries four month ago. It's been like this for two+ years until it became 14 in total.
I'd still stab them in the back when I get the chance, and really hard. Those bags of %!#@$%^.
