I've used GParted before. Just make sure you have everything you might need backed up. It can re-arrange partitions and change their sizes as well. It will take it several hours (or more) so be prepared to not be able to use the computer. Also, make sure that you don't turn it off or let the battery run out (if it's a laptop).

It worked perfect for me.
 
So I've heard the disadvantages of Windows 8 (No start menu, compatibility issues still), but what are the advantages?
 
the desktop environment has gotten a few visual updates in a good way.
the startup time has been reduced and there is an app store now. so far that's the only things i have noticed.

not really worth buying if you already have win7.

then there is "windows to go" and it's easier to reformat the system.
